SERVICE CHARGES

However saying that, some business enterprises did come up with a clever way which is called service charge. No idea who did invented this compulsory ten percent service charges but it is there and can not be avoided.

If you do mind paying compulsory tipping, so called service charges, then make sure you look at the bottom of the menu where usually states the inevitable very clearly, or ask a member of staff.

Tipping is usually ten percent of the total cost in typical Turkish local restaurants, soup houses where usually one does get a good friendly service.
