FETHIYE MARKET TRIP WITH OLUDENIZ
If you wish to explore the area a little bit further and visiting the largest market in the area then this trip may well be the one you are seeking for. The first part of this trip is spent visiting the local open market in Fethiye.
On the second part of this journey, we will visit the famous Kayakoy, an old greek settlement from the early 1920's. Deserted due to exchange between the Greek and Turkish ; After the Turkish independence war the Treaty of Lausanne in 1923 contained a protocol, the population exchange between Greece and Turkey.
Now preserved as a museum village, consists of hundreds of rundown but still mostly standing Greek-style houses and churches which cover a small mountainside and serve as a stopping place for tourists. Please do not believe the Ghost stories, unless its Halloween.
Finally Oludeniz or known as the Blue Lagoon. Here we spend a relaxing 2 hours swimming and enjoying the spectacular surrounding scenery.
On the way back we may stop briefly at a Turkish Delight factory to see how it is made. Tasting is free! We believe it is an informative break and everyone seems to enjoy it; the visit to the Delight factory may or may not take place, depending on time.
