FULL DAY BOSPHORUS AND BLACK SEA

KABATAS PIER, ORTAKOY, BEYLERBEYI PALACE ,LUNCH ON THE BOAT

ANADOLU KAVAGI, POYRAZKOY

This tour takes you to Bosphorus and Blacksea In the morning,we will pick you up from the hotel at 08.30-08.45 and then head to our boat awaiting at Kabatas Pier.

First stop is Ortakoy which is located in Beşiktas district. Today , Ortakoy (means MiddleTown) is known for its restaurants, clubs and cafes .

Once we get there, we’ll have a free time for half an hour. Many market stalls and local markets for shopping and also chance to taste local delicatessen. Tour Guide will provide you the necessary information about the historical mosque the famous Ortakoy Mecidiye , which it is under restoration .

After Ortakoy, we will head to Asian side to visit the Beylerbeyi Palace.The palace was constructed in the same style like the Dolmabahce Palace and built during Sultan Abdülaziz. It looks like the European palaces of the 18'th century and decorated with ornaments in the Oriental baroque form.

It has 24 rooms and 6 halls.The french and Turkish artists created the ceiling decorations. There is no heating system as it is a purpose build summer palace..

On the European side we will see Rumeli Fortress which played an important cruicial part in the History, being build by the Ottoman Sultan Mehmet II on the European side of Istanbul between 1451 and 1452, in order to prevent aid coming through Black Sea to Byzantine Capital Constantinople as well as having control over the ships using the waters. We’ll stop for half an hour at the castle.

After that, we wll have lunch on the boat. Starters are a mixer of tomato, cucumber, yaprak sarmasi, cig kofte, cheese, barbunya and ezme. Soft drinks such as fanta, cola, ice tea, water, fruit juice are also included within the price.

During the entire tour there will be many photo opportunies such as the Bosphorus Bridge, Sultan Mehmet II Bridge , Galatasaray Artificial Island and so on.
We will stop at the Anadolu Kavagi , a fishing town with a castle, build by the East Romans on top of the hills for controlling and keeping an eye on enemies.
We’ll stop here about half and hour. It is a typical Turkish village that you can enjoy your tea and coffee and shop in local market too.

Next is Poyrazkoy for swimming break .The journey takes half an hour from Anadolu Kavagi. Once we get there, we will stop for swimming for an hour.
Poyrazkoy is a village with population of approximately thousand people which is located on the Anatolian side of Istanbul.

After the swimming break, we will head back to our starting point Kabatas Pier.
On the way we will serve you with Turkish delicacy nut-based sweets topped with ground walnuts and dipped in honey to bring your energy levels back up where it should be, depending on the season this might be similar or different. Hotel Transfer Buses will be waiting at the Kabatas Pier to take everyone back to their hotels.
