SEA FISHING

Whether you are a Fishing enthusiast or an occasional angler, this Sea Fishing in Marmaris will make your day. The Boat can accommodate up to 12 people and has all the necessary equipment to catch your desired Fish. Hire this Boat with its crew and equipment for 700 US Dollars. The Boat is located in Marmaris harbour, and return Transfer can be arranged from the surrounding area, including Dalaman.

The cost for this premium experience is approximately £1,200. However, we strongly recommend considering the season—mid-August can be extremely hot, making night fishing an appealing alternative. Night fishing, available exclusively for private bookings due to age restrictions, offers a cooler and more serene experience, priced at around £1,400. This option is particularly well-suited to smaller groups or dedicated fishing enthusiasts.

CARP FISHING

Fishing for Common Carp in a Natural and Protected 52000 Hectares of Lake. Knowing how many Common Carp are in this natural Lake of Koycegiz is impossible. Still, the Muğla Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry released 260,000 juvenile Carp on August 24, 2022. and many thousands of big Carp into the Lake of Koycegiz.

There are plenty of quiet spots around the Lake to choose from. You can use a boat or fish effectively from the bank, whichever way you prefer.

Please Note:
Anyone who uses small-scale fishing gear to catch fish for non-commercial purposes in areas where fishing is prohibited is not obliged to obtain a fishing licence.

Lake Koycegiz has a surface area of nearly 5,500 ha and a length and width of 12- 13 km and 5-6 km, respectively. According to Turkish Fisheries Regulations, fishing gear such as fyke nets, gillnets, trammel nets, and longlines has been forbidden in the Koycegiz lagoon since 2000.

Carp Fishing Regulations in Lake Koycegiz

Carp fishing in Lake Koycegiz is managed under Turkish Fisheries Regulations to protect the ecosystem.

No fishing licence required for non-commercial, small-scale fishing.

The use of the following fishing gear has been prohibited since 2000:

Fyke nets

Gillnets

Trammel nets

Longlines

These regulations help maintain healthy carp stocks and sustainable fishing.

Carp Fishing Times

Carp Fishing in Koycegiz Lake starts from the 1st of September until the end of April. The best time is from November to the end of January. During the High Season, when the weather temperatures are high, chances of catching Carp Fish are reduced.

This Trip is ideal for Amateurs and Professionals who enjoy fishing in Natural Habitats. It can be booked for a Single Day or Multiple days, including full board accommodation.

If you wish to increase your chances to the maximum, feeding the location a day before is recommended. This can be done for an additional cost.
