Koycegiz Lake Tour

The destination is Koycegiz Lake, where we will enter the boats, and our journey begins!

The Koycegiz lake is calm and smooth, just like a silk sheet. We will visit the world-famous thermal and mudbaths on the other side of the lake. Sultaniye Thermal Springs have been there for centuries and are also been used by ancient civilizations. The entire delta plays a vital role in the wildlife habitat. Very rich in many bird species, fish and insects. The diversity in the ecosystem is vibrant.

After your indulgent and youthful experience at the mud baths, we will spend an hour eating lunch in a restaurant by the river, and please note,  depending on the Boat, we might serve lunch on the Boat. The menu includes meatballs and chicken and is filled with an open salad buffet with dressings and bread.

After your meal, we’ll head towards Turtle Beach with our riverboat. On the way, you’ll see the fascinating Rock Tombs; they are fascinating to look at. The journey through the reed banks of the Dalyan river will take you to the Iztuzu, known as Turtle Beach, where we will stay for an hour before returning to Koycegiz.

Then, of course, we arrive at the famous Turtle Beach. In the past, there have been many protests by wildlife lovers who wanted this beautiful beach and the area left in peace, undisturbed as much as possible. Many of the heroes are unknown by name; only some are. Without their stand against the giant construction firms at the time, we wouldn’t have had the chance to see this gorgeous beach.

We will stay here for one and a half hours. One side of the beach is fresh water, and the other is salt water. This spectacular beach with stunning views is perfect for relaxing and swimming. The tour guide will give all relevant information upon arrival on Turtle Beach.  After this beautiful day, we head back to Dalyan Town Pier.
